At the risk of another long list-style post, here's where I've been...
- Mr. I. was off from work the weekend of the 4th, so we've had 2 weeks to be busy...
- We went to a party on the 4th & made some great new friends, and ATE TOO MUCH!
- on the 5th we went to Jared & Sherrie's to visit, and to give away a kitten
- that night their daughter Jessi spent the night with us, and unfortunately totaled her car on the way to work the next morning. THANK GOD she's A-OK...
- Monday the 6th we drove to Nashville to see Anna & Jody. We had a great visit.
- Tuesday Guinness(cat) & Chloe(dog) went to the vet. Former to get fixed, latter to get shots. Mr. I. did some handyman stuff for my mom while the girls & I packed to go camping. We flea bombed the house while we were camping as part of our war on fleas.
- Wed. and Thurs. we camped. Hot Dogs, Smores, the works. Ahhhhhhhhh... I napped...
- Thurs. afternoon Peanut went to the Dr. for a checkup on some issues she's been having, nothing serious we hope. stay tuned.
- Friday. UMmmmmmm. OH! After Chloe barfed up new flea meds, I was inspired to shampoo all the carpet in the house, re-arrange the furniture, re-decorate a bit, and generally swab the decks!! I'll post some pics of the changes later this week.
- Today... Wait. Um. Yesterday... It was 1/2 price Saturday at Goodwill. We SCORED. Then the ladies & I drove to Grammie's and we all went estate sale & yard sale shopping. Gotta love deals for a quarter. Pics of all of these deals to follow also. After lunch I shampooed the carpet at mom's house, then home again to clean the pool, mow 1/2 our grass, finish 2 small paint projects, hang some stuff on the walls, overhaul the girls' room (who shoves that crap under the beds, anyway... LITTLE BIT!!!) I put away the hand me downs we got for the girls that were too big, took a bunch of blog pictures for later, then watched a little TV with no one but ME! (I'm a geek for the science channel, ok??)
- Now. Today (Sunday the???) I plan to... mow the other 1/2 of the grass. Weed the other 1/2 of my veggies. Clean the basement & finish organizing our homeschool stuff, for we strat back to the books on Monday. Already a week behind my planned schedule, but camping was well worth it. I need to make peach jam or something, I have 1/2 a basket from the farmer in town, and mine are almost ready to pick. I also need to bake bread.
WHEW! See why no posting? Who's had time!?! Soon. I promise. I have pictures to share. I swear. Now I should go to bed since tomorrow became today about 30 min. ago. Goodnight!
