cook it yourself

So, by now we've all seen Rachel Ray whip up something tasty in 30 minutes or less, right?  And usually, she doesn't start with a box of this or a bag of that.  She cooks fresh food in a short amount of time.  So can you.  After all, you don't have to talk to a camera the whole time.  By starting with fresh (preferably local) ingredients, and preparing it yourself, you have much more control over what you're eating.  Here's a link from Rachel's magazine about saving money & eating fresh.  This is a win-win here.  You save money by staying out of the drive-thru, get to enjoy being home more, and know what you're eating.
